This locomotive was widely used throughout Japan, and you can enjoy it in combination with various passenger cars and freight cars that were in service during the same period.

It is also recommended to combine it with the separately sold 5281/5283/5284 Oha 14/Suhafu 14/Ohafu 15 JNR specifications to recreate the express trains of yesteryear.

It is equipped with a slotless motor for power.

This model reproduces locomotives 1023-1039, from their initial manufacture until around 1987.It replicates the internally mounted taillights, front ventilation openings, and the narrow step width at the bottom of the gangway door.
The roof does not have a fan cover, and the low running boards are reproduced.
The roof color is blue, the signal flares are gray, and the whistle cover is blue.
The vertical bars and wipers on the front windows are silver, and the H-rubber in various places is gray.
The skirt reproduces the form with the KE59 jumper plug.
The body color, composed of Blue No. 15 and Cream No. 1, is beautifully reproduced.
The front handrails and uncoupling levers (black) are reproduced as separate parts.
Both are pre-installed.
The headlights illuminate (using warm white LEDs).
A slotless motor is used for smooth and quiet running.
Arnold couplers are standard equipment, and replacement knuckle couplers are included.
