A very nice watch, indeed! This unit comes with an all stainless bracelet and case. The crystal seems pretty solid and durable. It arrived with Japanese instructions, but if you go to Casio's web site, you can get a PDF file of the user's guide by referencing product number 5110. I found it easy to program, and it took a full rapid recharge under a low wattage light bulb after a few hours. It is easy to sync with your area's regional atomic clock. It displays the day, date and seconds in standard time mode (normal display mode). It has four alarms, one snooze alarm and an optional hourly chime. Has attractive luminescent hands (glow in the dark), and an LED night light with an auto-on with the tilt of your wrist option (nice touch). It features world time, a stopwatch, a timer, a power level display and an atomic clock sync status display. The bracelet adjustment requires careful care because of the secondary smaller collar that the pin fits into (extremely small) that might escape your notice. That said, I think this is one of Casio's best efforts yet for an all-solar design. I'm hoping for years of life from this handsome pieces. Great value!

I own this watch for more than six months, so my is review based on myexperience. Although I gave this watch five stars, it is not absolutelyperfect product. Nevertheless, I think its small deficiencies are more related towatch design, rather than manufacturing. It is built very solidly, without anyplastic parts, and so far did not expose any deficiencies.I like its two lines digital display. It shows digits and characters prettywell. However, the watch is not simple. Its manual has about 70 pages, but itis written very clearly with a lot of pictures and information structured verywell. English language manual does not come with watches - you have to downloadit from Casio website.First few weeks the watches could not catch the calibrated signal for timesynchronization. I live on the East Coast, quite far from Fort Collins, sothe signal was not strong. Nevertheless, after few weeks the watches adjustedautomatically and started to catch up the signal every three or four days,mostly during night hours.My critical remarks are the following:1. I would prefer to have long second hand instead of digital display of seconds2. It would be nice if the dial had digits instead of markers for hours.3. The watches are not light - 4.5 ounces or 135 gram and you feel it. If they could be made out of titanium, the weight would be perfect. I would definitely pay more for titanium watches.4. The water resistance pressure is 5 bar, I think Casio should make it 10 bar for such not cheap watchesOther than that, everything is fine so far.Jacob

amazing watch, I had downloaded the manual in english prior to even getting the watch (5110 from the casio site). I was able to adjust the band with a leatherman needle nose and a sewing needle cut in half to push the band pins out enough for the leatherman to grab and fully pull out. to push the links back in I pushed the band pins back in on a table edge. I'm a huge fan of having DIGITAL with full time with seconds and ANALOG - one thing I've found if you'd like to see the lower DIGITAL portion with the light, is to put your thumb over it at night and it will reflect into the lower digital portion. and the watch light won't shine into your eyes. see pics for detail, if I shot these photos in total darkness, it would show even more. hope this tip helps you, lots of yours helped me. a real classy looking fine timekeeping watch.

I went back to wearing watches after getting tired of pulling my cell phone out and squinting in the bright sun when I wanted to just see the time. I wanted a dual function watch and this is a really good looking watch (even better in person). When it arrived I saw that the instructions were in Japanese so I had to download the English instructions from the Casio website. You need to pay close attention to setting up the first time. It took me a few tries and I had to sort of reset the hands to get it correct. The instructions are spot on though and you just need to read them through all the way to understand how the watch works. I adjusted the band by removing a couple of pins and lost the tiny retention collars that hold him in place. You need to be very careful about doing this. The inside of the band has arrows that show you which direction to push them. I ended up slightly bending the ends of the pins with needle nose pliers which creates a friction hold that should keep them in place for a while. I've tried doing the manual time set via the radio frequency but haven't had any luck. That's ok though as the watch is telling perfect time when I compare it to an atomic clock I have on the wall. I assume it's working because it's so accurate. Here's my like and dislike list:Like;Good looking and not too big as some watches seem to be these days. It's just the right size for man's watch.Good functions, alarm, dual time, 24 hour, day, date, stopwatch, auto set etc.Solar powered so it should last a long time without maintenanceEasy to readDislikes:A little difficult to set up (Impossible without the directions)Pins in the band are difficult to adjustThe LED that you use at night just allows you to read the dial and not the digital displaysNo real manual time set.......it is automatic and requires radio signal. (pro and con i guess)But the dislikes are minor and are far outweighed by the likes. I paid $149 and I think that's a great deal for a watch like this.
