Approximately two years have passed since the 1st album "Kurano" by Loupx garoux, the ensemble dedicated to Nii Mariko's solo songs. Since 2025, Loupx garoux has also been active in an experimental style where the lineup changes with each live performance, and after the single "(RE)LOADED/FIG(URE)", they have finally released their 2nd album "HAUNT". The album includes "ARISE," a punk tune without electric guitar that had already been performed live after "Kurano," "KISS DISS," which could be described as heavy alternative pop, and the transparently melancholic "RAVEN," as well as Niimariko's acoustic solo songs "Shujitsu" and "(RE)LOADED," which have been rearranged for the album. The title track "HAUNT" shows a new challenge with an R&B approach, which has been a concept since the band's formation, and is permeated with anger and prayer towards the sick modern society. And "Make Some Noise," a "Christmas song," is a heartfelt "anti-war song" sent to Japan.
