We present the Waterline series, reborn with even greater precision.
It was later converted into a seaplane tender, and finally completed as a midget submarine carrier.
However, in actual operational missions, it was assigned to extremely dangerous tasks as an armed high-speed transport ship and was sunk by enemy bombing off the coast of Bougainville.
The kit accurately depicts the distinctive, unusually heavily armed three twin 14cm guns for a seaplane tender, the impressive stacked bridge, and the detailed aircraft operation facilities.
Furthermore, various seaplanes, seaplane catapults, and other equipment have been newly designed and added, effectively expressing the precision and detail of a 1/700 scale model.
