Please understand in advance. This is the third original album by Uki, the solo unit of Yoneyama Misa. Four years have passed since her previous work, "Akarui Kurai," and during that time, singer-songwriter Uki has been traveling around with her nylon-string gut guitar and continuing to perform energetically, and now her third original album, "Watashi," is complete. Following on from their previous work, Uki to Minato members Tetsuro Fujimaki (drums) and Masanori Hattori (double bass), along with violinist Akiko Igaki, have reunited. Adding guitarist Kota Yamauchi, the five began recording on the shores of a lake in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, with sound artist Takeshi Higashi, who is pioneering new frontiers in field recording, as their engineer. Later, they added guitar and ukulele by Yoshiki Sakurai, and included three intimate tracks recorded at Uki's home with Yuuki Furukawa, resulting in a grand 13-track album.
