Shimano's silent assassin: erases its presence, lets the fish inhale the bait, and takes the kill. The mission of this model is to erase the angler's presence to the greatest extent possible, allowing the filefish to inhale the bait without suspicion, and to clearly express that in the rod tip. The tip uses a super-elastic alloy metal solid, ToughTec Metal. Compared to carbon solids, metal solids have extremely low rebound force, and by almost completely erasing the presence of the rig, it is possible to let the wary filefish inhale the bait naturally. Due to its sensitivity, the tip moves significantly in response to a bite, resulting in surprisingly high visual sensitivity and the most visual information in the series. It is suitable for a wide range of fishing styles, from bottom fishing with weights to fishing with attractors and mid-weights, and even gentle mid-water fishing. While the overall action is soft, it retains a minimum amount of hooking power from the mid-tip to the belly section. In fishing where the fish is "letting" the bait swallow, a minimum amount of hooking power is sufficient. In fact, there is a type of fishing where not trying to hook the fish is what makes it work. Quietly and surely, it takes down the prey. This rod tip is truly an "assassin" that entices bites in silence. *Reel seat position: Downlock is... TKM-01-03-10 SRS-254969363273703 SSS175-MS
