The player controls the main character, Mono, and gives instructions to her partner, Meeru, to solve the puzzles scattered throughout the world of "books". This title is the third in the picture book series, following "The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince" and "The Wicked King and the Magnificent Hero". While retaining the picture book-like expression using analog illustrations that is a characteristic of the picture book series, this work is set in a somewhat eerie monochrome world and is themed as a "picture book that you can play with and destroy," setting it apart from previous works in the series. ●Graphics and direction that incorporate elements of picture books The world in which the main characters adventure employs stage designs created by embodying the traumas of the girls. This title allows you to experience a world view that is as if the analog drawings of designer Sayaka Oda have been directly translated into a game. With monochrome expressions based on handwriting, picture book-style illustrations, and storytelling-like direction that is interspersed, there are many elements of the theme of "picture books" that are incorporated, so you can enjoy an immersive feeling of interacting with the world of the book together with the main characters. ●Gimmick to progress by "destroying" paper stages In the picture book world that serves as the stage, you can solve the gimmick by destroying and transforming the background graphics. You can progress by eating and turning each stage made of "paper" and destroying the world of the picture book. As the story progresses, you can acquire skills for Mono and Meeru, so solve the various gimmicks in each stage. ● Grotesque x Cute! Characters full of contrasts At the end of each stage await the girls who have been transformed into grotesque forms due to trauma, known as "Shinigami Princesses." Defeat these girls who have been transformed into such monstrous forms and save them. In addition to the Shinigami Princesses, who have a somewhat melancholic design that combines cute girls with grotesque forms, many animal-themed grotesque creatures that live in the strange library will also appear. ◆Product Details◆ Compatible models: PlayStation 5 Genre: Fairy tale-breaking adventure Supported languages: Japanese CERO rating: Suitable for ages 15 and up (C)2026 Nippon Ichi Software Inc.
