[Product introduction] Tomix's completed N gauge vehicle, JR 500 7000 series Sanyo Shinkansen (Kodama) set (8 cars). Reproduce the 500 series Kodama vehicle currently in service on the Sanyo Shinkansen line. Uses an M-13 motor. Headlights feature incandescent LEDs, and taillights feature red LEDs. Head and taillights are constantly lit. Equipped with a circuit board. Hook and U-shaped conductive couplers. Reproduce the shape of the pantograph and pantograph cover. The conductor's compartment window frame of 526-7200 is reproduced in silver. The cable heads of 528-7000 and 525-7000 come as separate parts. Equipped with a movable hood. Joint cover included. Selectable car numbers and a transfer sheet included. Uses a flywheel-equipped motor, new current collection system, and silver wheels. [Actual Vehicle Introduction] The 500 series is a Shinkansen train developed by JR West for the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines, characterized by its sharp, sleek shape reminiscent of an aircraft. The 500 series 7000 series was modified for use on the Sanyo Shinkansen Kodama line in 2008, shortening the train to eight cars and redesigning the pantograph and cover.
