[Product introduction] Tomix's N gauge completed vehicle, JR Kiha 185 series express diesel car (Uzushio) set (2 cars)

[Specially planned product] The car number is printed. The driver's side of the lead car is equipped with a TN coupler (SP). The head and tail lights and train markings are constantly lit with a circuit board with an ON-OFF switch and incandescent LEDs. The power source is a flywheel, and the new current collection system and silver wheels are used. The M-13 motor is used. This model recreates the Kiha 185 series train used for the "Uzushio No. 8" limited express train from Tokushima to Takamatsu on March 14, 2025. The Kiha 185-18 recreates the train in its revived JNR livery. The Kiha 185-11 recreates the train with the side wrapping of the former "Island Express Shikoku II." 【Actual vehicle introduction】The Kiha 185 series is a limited express diesel car manufactured from 1986 onwards. After the privatisation of the Japanese National Railways, all carriages of this series were inherited by JR Shikoku, and more have been added since then. Some carriages were later transferred to JR Kyushu, but continue to be used on limited express trains within JR Shikoku, including the "Uzushio", "Tsurugiyama", and "Muroto". The limited express "Muroto" was a train that ran between Tokushima and Mugi on the Mugi Line, and was discontinued on March 14, 2025. On the same day, the Kiha 185 series also ceased operation on the limited express "Uzushio".
