The 5080 series for the Meguro Line has been added to KATO's Tokyu Line lineup.

Not only does it feature a distinctive blue stripe, but it also recreates the unique placement of the radio antenna on the roof.

You can enjoy it along with the Tokyu Shin-Yokohama Line and the various carriages you will encounter on direct routes.

This product recreates the 5190 train, which incorporates a newly built car (car 5) and a converted car from the 6000 series (car 4) into the 7th series, forming an 8-car formation.
The corporate logo on the side of the car is printed as "TOKYU CORPORATION" on cars 1-3 and 6-8, while "TOKYU RAILWAYS" is printed on cars 4 and 5, which were added later.
The "8cars" logo is printed on the windshield.
The identification strips next to the crew doors and the warning strips at the ends of the cars are missing.
The digital radio antenna added to the roof of the lead car and the two L-shaped antennas centrally located on the roof of the Shin-Yokohama-bound lead car (5890) are reproduced.
Cars 1-3 and 5-8 are equipped with Mitsubishi air conditioning units (CU708 type coolers),.
while car 4 is equipped with Hitachi air conditioning units (HRB504 type coolers).
The middle section of the train is equipped with a KATO close-coupled coupler (with hook) as standard.
The front end is equipped with a dummy coupler.
Head/tail lights and front destination displays are lit (using white LEDs).
A slotless motor is used for smooth and quiet running.
The front display "Express Ebina" is already installed.
Replacement displays "Local Urawa Misono," "Local Nishi-Takashimadaira," and "(plain)" are included.
The side displays are printed in black.
Destination display stickers are included.
