This fuzz pedal is a replica of a vintage 1972 "Triangle" Muff pedal. The owner, G. Smith, contacted Wren and Cuff to have it restored. Big Muff pedals from the Triangle era are known for having 18 different circuits, all in the same pedal housing and style. While some of the circuits are illustrious, they pale in comparison to the legends that came later. Having repaired countless vintage pedals over the years, Matt at Wren and Cuff performed his usual restoration on this particular pedal. Once the restoration was complete and the pedal was played, it became clear that this particular Triangle was indeed a "good one"—The Good One. The Good One was reverse-engineered to perfectly replicate its incredible sound. It uses the same ceramic disc capacitors, component values, and carbon-composite resistors as the original unit.
