Swap Two Cassettes While Playing: With two independent cassette mechanisms, you can swap cassettes on TAPE 2 while TAPE 1 is playing, and prepare the next track. Additionally, in "SPECIAL" playback mode, you can monitor the playback sound of one tape through headphones while the other is playing (output from the line out), making it easy to cue the other tape. Both cassette mechanisms feature a "RETURN TO ZERO" function (rewinding the counter to 0000). *In "NORMAL" playback mode, as with previous models, when playing either tape, that audio is output from the line out and headphone out. Noise Reduction Function Reduces Hiss During Playback. The "NOISE REDUCTION" function reduces the hissing noise that occurs during tape playback. This is effective when playing tapes recorded with Dolby B noise reduction. *The noise reduction function is only effective during playback. *Dolby is a registered trademark of Dolby Laboratories. Microphone Input and Mixing Function Convenient for Karaoke and Announcement Applications: The front panel features a microphone input convenient for karaoke and announcements. You can record a mix of the audio played on TAPE 1 (or TAPE 2) and the microphone input onto TAPE 2 (or TAPE 1), enabling you to record karaoke using your existing tape material. You can also record the audio input from the RCA pin jack input and the audio input from the microphone input. The input levels for each can be adjusted independently. TAPE 1 also features a pitch control function, convenient for karaoke applications. Simultaneous recording reduces the hassle of cassette duplication. You can simultaneously record audio from an externally connected device onto two cassettes (TAPE 1/2). For distribution after recording, you can simultaneously create a master tape and a distribution tape. Digital archiving of cassette tapes is possible. The rear panel of the unit is equipped with a USB port for connection to a computer. Using computer recording software, you can digitally archive your cassette tapes.
