While many 500 Series power racks feature a simple design that essentially powers all channels in parallel, the OST-4 v2.0 features its own individually regulated and isolated power supply for each channel. This allows all installed 500 Series modules to operate at their full potential, preventing overloading modules from impairing the performance of others. In addition to reduced interference, you can expect better performance, especially in the mic preamps, with lower self-noise and crosstalk. Also new in the v2.0 model is the Link function, which allows you to link any channel to the next with the push of a button.
