The EDB-2 VAP is a versatile tube preamp and analog audio processor. It naturally amplifies the sound of not only acoustic guitars but also ukuleles, mandolins, violins, and double basses, adding the warmth that only tube circuits can provide. It also helps eliminate the harshness and feedback often associated with piezo pickups. Its two-channel design makes it ideal for connecting two instruments simultaneously, or even using two different pickups on one instrument. The unique H.E.A.T (Harmonic Enhanced Analog Technology) harmonic enhancer adds a sense of sparkle by adding even harmonics 1-1.5 octaves above 1 kHz. Additionally, the Blend control adds rich harmonics from the two-stage tube circuit. This blend adds some even harmonics, primarily perceived as warmth in the mid-low range.
