SKYLER is a reverb pedal featuring four highly acclaimed reverbs, even among GFI's higher-end models. Using two footswitches and four button encoders, it offers a compact footprint with a multi-function parameter and operation options. The dry signal is output in analog form, allowing you to enjoy reverb sounds without compromising the original sound. Conversely, you can set the wet setting to 100% to create a spacey sound with no attack. It also features a "ramping" function that instantly raises a specific parameter to its maximum value while the footswitch is pressed. Even without using expression, you can maximize the decay at the end of a song to create a long reverberation.
- 4 reverb types
- Algorithms
- Up to 7 parameter controls, including push-and-turn controls
- LCD screen
- Mono/stereo input/output
- Expression
- Pedal & TAP tempo input
- Momentary function, which turns on only while the switch is pressed. This pedal features four highly acclaimed reverb types. ・4 types of reverb
・Algorithm
・Control up to 7 parameters, including pressing and turning
・LCD screen
・Mono/stereo input/output
・Expression
・Pedal & TAP tempo input
・Momentary function, which turns on only while the switch is pressed. Various Functions
■ Presets: SKYLER can save two presets.
■ Mono/Stereo Input/Output: SKYLER supports both mono and stereo input/output. Use a TS cable for mono connection and a TRS-Y cable for stereo connection.
■ External Controller Expression
・Connect a pedal or a footswitch for TAP tempo input. The Expression pedal allows for real-time control of parameters. ■ Ramping: While the footswitch is pressed, the selected parameter is increased to its maximum value. Releasing the footswitch returns it to its original value. ■ Momentary: The effect is on only while the footswitch is pressed. Reverb Algorithms: Spatium: This reverb is synonymous with GFI and has been included in previous high-end models. As its name suggests, it is characterized by a rich, enveloping sound. ■ Shimmer: Adds an octave or fifth above Spatium to create beautiful, string-like harmonies. The longer the reverb, the more the harmonies overlap, creating a richer sound. ■ Plate: A classic plate reverb that has long been used in recording. It is easy to use and matches a variety of instruments. ■ Tremble: Adds a tremolo effect to the reverb (wet signal) to create a unique ambient feel. Tremolo speed can be set via tap tempo input.
・Input impedance: 1 MOhm.
・Output impedance: 1K Ohm.
・DAC/ADC resolution: 24 bits.
・Weight: 600g
・Dimensions: 12 (L) x 7.2 (W) x 5.5 (H) cm
・Power supply: 9VDC/110mA, center negative (power adapter sold separately)
