With every AUTO pedal, the nuances of your playing become part of the "sound effect" element. The sound design throughout the AUTO series takes your musical expression on a journey of discovery and wonder. Three algorithms: Tape Emulation, Analog BBD Emulation, and Digital Delay. Four controls: Level, Time, Feedback, and Tone. Three Ping-Pong Delay settings: 0%, 50%, and 100%. Flexible synchronization: MIDI and Analog Clock compatible. Tap Tempo: Press and hold to activate. Each pedal features two modulation sources, allowing you to control them as you play. DYNAMICS responds to the volume nuances of your playing, capturing picking style, instrument loudness, decay, and more. PITCH detects not only note selection, but also bend and vibrato. Using the included patch cables, you can route these modulations to the four effect knobs and adjust parameters. Typically, effect control is achieved through presets, expression pedals, or MIDI control, but these don't offer much creative control beyond their functionality. However, the AUTO series offers a completely new way of performing: orchestrate effects while still focusing on your instrument. Example Settings: ■ Ducking Delay: Create your own ducking delay by controlling the WET/DRY MIX with dynamics. ■ Delaying only high notes: To add delay to notes above a specific note, set PITCH to INPUT LEVEL. ■ Playing with Feedback: Set FEEDBACK to self-oscillation and PITCH to DELAY TIME. The delay follows the notes.
■ By using the FEEDBACK knob for DYNAMICS and inverting the modulation with the AUTOULATION AMOUNT knob, the quieter you play, the more the delay will feedback, and the less effective it will be with louder notes.
