●Noise Reduction
-Mode: Noise picked up by the pickup becomes more noticeable as the string vibrations decay and the volume decreases. In Noise Reduction
-Mode, the noise reduction circuit begins to gradually reduce the volume when the volume falls below the set volume (THRESHOLD value), making the noise less noticeable.
-Mode: The Signal
-Mode provides optimal volume control and natural attenuation. If a signal exceeding the set value is input, the noise reduction circuit immediately passes the signal unaffected.
●Noise Gate
-Mode: In Noise Gate
-Mode, the sound is instantly muted when the volume falls below the set volume (THRESHOLD value). This is useful when you want to instantly stop a sound while playing. Crisp Gate
-Mode: Can be used as an effect. To preserve the sound quality of your guitar or bass, the audio signal passes through a fully analog circuit. You'll notice a fundamental difference in sound quality compared to conventional noise reduction and noise gates. This unit is equipped with a MIDI IN terminal, allowing you to control the effect on/off via MIDI signals. This is an extremely convenient feature when using this unit in conjunction with an audio routing controller such as the ARC-4. Since it does not require connection to the effects loop, it can be incorporated into a pedalboard without major wiring changes.
