Polaris is an analog chorus/vibrato with two independent FOCUS (standard DEPTH) controls. FOCUS (normal) provides a gentle setting, while FOCUS II (footswitch on) provides a more aggressive setting, allowing for instant switching. Inspired by the vintage "Small Clone," this unit uses the same rare, out-of-print MN3007 BBD chip as the original. Compared to current models, it features a wider dynamic range and a richer sound. It also features tone and volume controls not found on the original. Tone allows for low-frequency cut as needed, while Volume controls allow for volume control from cut to unity gain and beyond. These controls interact, with the Tone effect varying depending on the Volume setting.
