Description (2,978 characters)
Loma Prieta is a versatile tremolo machine with four tremolo patterns and sound control for the tremolo itself. Using VOLUME, which boosts the sound above the input, and GRIT, which overdrives it, you can achieve a "thick, full" tremolo sound reminiscent of vintage amp tremolos or the preamp circuit of a rotary speaker. The name Loma Prieta comes from the Loma Prieta earthquake that occurred in California in 1989, as earthquakes are sine waves. ■ Four Tremolo Patterns ・Sine (sine wave): The most standard, soft tremolo ・Square (square wave): An intense tremolo that alternates between peaks and flats ・Ramp Down (falling pattern): A sharp rise and a gentle fall. Accent in the foreground - Ramp Up (rising pattern): Gently rises and sharply falls. Accent in the background. All-in-One Tremolo. Go to the listening page (external site). ・Pattern
・Sine (sine wave): The most standard, soft tremolo
・Square (square wave): Intense tremolo that goes back and forth between peaks and flats
・Ramp Down (falling pattern): Rise sharply and fall gently. Accent at the front
・Ramp Up (rising pattern): Rise gently and fall sharply. Accent at the back SHIFT/Momentary to turn on additional functions
・The footswitch to the right of the switch is a momentary switch that temporarily activates the item selected with SHIFT. You can select the following four functions with SHIFT.
・DBL (Doubles the tremolo speed)
・DIST (Achieve the same effect as turning the GRIT control to maximum)
・LoFi (Cuts low frequencies when the STYLE switch is in Harmonic mode / Effect turned off when in Traditional mode)
・TAP (TAP tempo input) Function
■ GRIT (Feedback/Distortion) Turning the GRIT control to the right adds distortion to the tremolo circuit sound.
■ STYLE Switch The STYLE switch on the side of the unit switches between conventional standard tremolo (TRAD mode) and harmonic tremolo (HARM mode). The color of the LED on the right, which indicates the TAP tempo speed, changes depending on the mode. Standard mode = yellow / Harmonic mode = red
■ EXP Input You can control the tremolo speed by connecting an expression pedal (sold separately / TRS cable) to the EXP jack. Additionally, by adjusting the internal DIP switch, you can connect an external TAP tempo switch (TS cable) to the EXP terminal. The default is TAP. Dimensions: W12 x D9.5 cm Power Supply: 9V DC / 30mA / Center Negative Connector ■ Product Code: 4571239309074
