The Toyota Sports 800, released in 1965, was a compact sports car that utilized the mechanics of the popular Publica car.
Despite its weak air-cooled 2-cylinder engine, it was extremely light at just 580 kg, making it particularly successful in endurance races.
Its aerodynamic styling was also appealing, and it was affectionately nicknamed Toyohachi, and later Yotahachi.
A version with replaced wheels from the 1969 model, the final model, has been released.
