This HO gauge model is reminiscent of the 1985 JNR era when the "Kitaguni" express train was converted to the 583 series!

This is a formation for the Kitaguni, with both ends reproduced as KuHaNe 581 series formations.

This "Kitaguni" formation is reproduced with KuHaNe 581 series trains at both ends.
The JNR mark is printed on the side of the KuHaNe front end.
The train mark is "Kitaguni" and includes an illustration of "Thunderbird" and the word "Express".
The KuHaNe typhoon is reproduced with a shutter.
Some markings are pre-printed.
The car number is selectable and a realistic metal transfer sheet is included.
The side destination display is selectable and includes realistic backing stickers.
Clear parts are pre-installed for the side indicator lights.
The headlights are illuminated with warm white LEDs, the taillights with red LEDs, and the train mark with white LEDs.
The roof is reproduced in gray.
Close-coupled TN couplers are standard.
Due to the large body, one basic set can be configured as two powered cars.
