YUKSTA-ILL, a rapper based in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, and a member of the RC SLUM crew, has released his fifth album, "82PLACE," his first in about two and a half years! The album features a diverse cast of artists from various crews and generations across Japan, including members of the 1982S crew, MILES WORD (BLAHRMY), JASS (Tha Jointz), KOJOE, GRADIS NICE, DJ SCRATCH NICE, RAMZA, MASS-HOLE, MET as MTHA2, Cedar Law$, and T-TRIPPIN (DAZZLE 4 LIFE). YUKSTA-ILL, a rapper based in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, and a member of the Tokai-area crew "RC SLUM," is also a member of the same-generation collective "1982S."
Based in his hometown, YUKSTA-ILL has been active in the hip-hop scene for a long time, and in recent years has returned to the MC battle scene, maintaining an exquisite sense of balance in the local area. He also made a big splash in 2023 when he founded his own production company, "WAVELENGTH PLANT." Now, after a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, he's released his long-awaited fifth album, "82PLACE." As a rapper with a long and impressive career, YUKSTA-ILL has many like-minded friends across the country, and this album, "82PLACE," brings together a diverse group of artists from different regions, crews, and generations, based on the concept of where he is now, his journey, and the place he's found in the process.
Guest appearances include the members of the 1982S (MASS-HOLE, ISSUGI, Senninsho, Mr.PUG), MILES WORD (BLAHRMY), JASS (Tha Jointz), J. COLUMBUS, GINMEN, CJ (HOMEBOYZ), Aura, and producers GRADIS NICE, DJ SCRATCH NICE, KOJOE, MASS-HOLE, RAMZA, T-TRIPPIN (DAZZLE 4 LIFE), Cedar Law$, MET as MTHA2, OWLBEATS, MATSUIGODZILLA, MA (BONG BROS), UCbeats, and P3T-BUSTARD! The artwork for this album was created by Saaka, a designer who has worked on previous releases from his label, WAVELENGTH PLANT, as well as flyers for events he plans. The CD includes a booklet containing designs for all the tracks, making it a work of art produced by Saaka that can be enjoyed.
