Introduction: Motoyoshi Matsuura is a keyboardist who has supported and recorded with artists such as Kobukuro, Tatsuya Ishii, Miki Takeuchi, and Maki Ohguro, and has been a key figure in the Japanese pop music scene for over 30 years.
Matsuura turned 60 this year and will be releasing his first album, "Nostalgia."
Matsuura, who began his solo piano and vocal career after the Great East Japan Earthquake, has chosen "people's lives, lives, and nostalgia" as the theme of this album, selecting and recording classic Japanese songs that have been passed down through the generations.
This album was recorded in analog using 2-inch tape and vintage equipment, capturing Matsuura Motoyoshi's deep vocals and the lustrous piano melodies with the texture of a recording studio.
