Zilqy's first collection
The four members come from different backgrounds, but their common keywords are "global standard sound," "Japanese melody, which is the uniqueness of Japanese artists," and "combining these to take on the challenge of creating a new metal sound."
Therefore, the direction of the five songs included is very diverse.
The range of musical styles is wide, from tracks that dynamically depict the contrast between the architectural beauty of modern metal and melodic, catchy melodies, to nu-metal rap tracks with addictive lead synths reflecting off dance beats, to tracks that combine hip-hop elements with guitar riffs reminiscent of traditional metal, to dramatic tracks that play out a heavy, emotional contrast between calm and intensity, to tracks with high-speed guitar riffs and sparkling synth sounds smoothly blending together into techno beats. Each work is packed with experimental elements that represent a new challenge to the world.
The lyrics were all written by Anna (Vocals), and are centered around English lyrics, with a strong will to move forward despite conflicts, and an aesthetic of struggling despite being hurt, leading people all over the world to a new world.
The sound production and arrangements are handled by Kuboty, formerly of TOTALFAT, Gaku, the drummer of Crystal Lake, Toshi-Fj, who started his musical career in New York and has written songs for artists across a wide range of genres, and Macky, the guitarist leading the next generation of metalcore, embodying global standards, metal, and new musicality.
Mixing and mastering was handled by Lance Prenc, based in Melbourne, Australia.
He is an engineer specializing in metalcore and heavy metal, and has worked with many world-class metalcore bands such as Polaris, Alpha Wolf, and Thornhil, as well as Japanese artists such as Paledusk, Prompts, and Crystal Lake, making him one of the people who are setting the standards for modern metal sound.
