The Sahari Akane bell is a handcrafted bell crafted by artisans in Kyoto. It is a traditional product crafted by repeatedly polishing and tuning each bell to suit its unique characteristics, while listening carefully to the individual differences in sound that arise during casting. The Akane bell is tuned for a mellow, low tone. A bell's complex tone, combining a clear tone with a low-pitched undulation in the main sound, is traditionally considered to have a "good sound." Even a slight change in the composition of the clay and metal materials used in the casting mold can significantly alter the sound of the product. Thanks to the accumulated experience and techniques passed down as secrets in the workshop, only products with a certified tone are distributed.
