This set includes a hanging scroll of the Nichiren sect's principal image and side image, along with a hanging scroll stand. The principal image mandala is usually hung in the center of the top shelf of the altar. Daikokuten (right), the god of grain and wealth, is enshrined on the right side of the top shelf of the altar. Kishimojin (left), the god of safe childbirth and child-rearing, is enshrined on the left side of the top shelf of the altar. *Depending on the temple or region, the left and right sides may be reversed. The vibrant silkscreen paper (image portion) is hand-mounted with multiple layers of fabric.
