Kato 3534 Scheduled for release between March 2026 and April 2026. [Product Description] This is a 4-car basic set of the H5 Series Hokkaido Shinkansen "Hayabusa" from Kato's HO gauge train. This set features the H1 formation of the H5 Series, accurately and realistically recreating the H5 Series' distinctive lavender stripes and symbolic markings. The outer hood of the connecting section that wraps around the top is rendered in black. This set recreates the train's configuration before the windows were blocked off to accommodate the installation of a baggage storage area. Stickers are included to recreate the blocked windows in cars 1-8. Symbolic marks are located on cars 1 and 7. Equipped with a body tilt mechanism and a front-end coupling mechanism (H514-1). Minimum passing curve radius: R370mm (When passing through small curves (R550-490 or less) on double-track trains, cars on the rear tangent track may come into contact with each other. Operation on a single track is recommended.) The side destination display is a separate part printed with "Hayabusa 39 Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto." Includes replacement blank parts and destination display stickers. A power unit equipped with a coreless motor ensures stable running. Two motor cars, cars 3 and 7, are equipped with motorized cars. Head and tail lights illuminate (using white LEDs). Car 10 (H514-1) comes with a light-off switch and is stored in a paper box. *As the product uses the E5 series body, some of the expressions may differ from the actual vehicle.

【Introduction to the Actual Vehicle】The H5 series was introduced in 2016 as JR Hokkaido's first Shinkansen. It is based on JR East's E5 series, with some interior and exterior changes. The basic appearance and paint color are similar to the E5 series, but it has a lavender stripe called "Saika Purple," and the five cars in the train have a symbol of Hokkaido and a gyrfalcon on the side. Like the E5 series, it is currently in service on the "Hayabusa" service, which runs between Tokyo and Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto.
