Product Introduction: "X" is an ambitious 1969 film by Gerry Anderson, creator of "Thunderbirds," that aims to fuse supermarionation with live action. Father Stanley, who lives in a church in the suburbs of England, is actually a special agent for BISHOP (British Intelligence Service Headquarters Operation Priest). Upon receiving Order X from London headquarters, Stanley uses a secret weapon hidden in the church's Bible, the Minimizer (a device developed by Professor Humbard that shrinks matter to one-third of its size), to shrink his companion, the gardener Matthew, and have him infiltrate a terrifying international criminal network and spy ring, thwarting various plots through covert operations. The music is by Barry Gray, who has worked on almost all of Gerry Anderson's films. The album features a variety of exciting tracks, as well as lounge-inspired tunes.
