Product introduction: From a gay man and a fujoshi to "me" and "you," the form of "love" found by two people who couldn't understand each other. Naoto Asahara's novel "What She Likes Is Homosexual, Not Me," which was adapted into a TV drama in 2019 under the title "A Fujoshi Accidentally Confesses to a Gay Man," has been given a fresh, filmic treatment by director Shogo Kusano, known for such acclaimed coming-of-age films as "Bitter Sweet" and "The Longest Photograph in the World." The film follows Jun, a high school student who hides his gay identity, and his classmate Sae, who secretly loves BL. The two unexpectedly become close, and begin dating without Sae knowing Jun's sexuality. The story explores the protagonist's struggles with the pain and hardships of life, the violence caused by ignorance and misunderstanding in society, and the unconscious prejudices that lurk in everyone's hearts. Despite his wounds, he carves out his own path in life. The music is by Gary Ashiya, known for his work on numerous films directed by Rikiya Imaizumi, a leading figure in romance films. The clear music, blending sadness and warmth, gently accompanies the story and deeply touches the heart.
