To start, yes it is shorter...but that's because it's 1/200 scale. It is very well articulated and feels durable. It is an excellent toy. A nice little companion for your little mecha enthusiasts. It might be your kid's new favorite toy. It's pocket sized...take it to the office and decorate your desk with it. Let the world know that you love anime and guns and aren't afraid to show it!
