■The TOON X Series is equipped with a high-performance DSP. The DSP (Digital Signal Processor) is a digital adjustment technology that minimizes sound degradation and is effective in improving sound quality even in the harsh environment of a vehicle cabin. Compatible Vehicles: Subaru Crosstrek, Model Year: R04/12-, Model Number: GUD/GUE/GUF. Install this product in a well-ventilated location. (Recommended installation location: under the passenger seat.) Cannot be used in vehicles with a factory external amplifier. Popping noises may be heard when powering on/off, but this is not a malfunction. Reset all sound settings on the factory deck to their default settings (OFF or FLAT). The factory deck's fader adjustments will no longer be usable. Front and rear independent seat mode* cannot be used on vehicles with this feature. This is a factory feature that outputs separate audio for the front and rear seats. The name varies by manufacturer. Using the manufacturer's DSP-GS1 allows you to switch between the factory sound (front and rear independent mode available) and the TOONX sound (front and rear independent mode unavailable). Occasionally, popping noises may be heard when powering off.
