15x optical zoom lens 15x zoom from 25.5mm on the wide-angle end to 382.5mm on the telephoto end. Utilizing a multi-group zoom system, this 4K-compatible lens is compact and slim, while still supporting 1.0-inch CMOS. High-quality Full HD video using 4K signals. Over Sampling HD Processing effectively utilizes the rich visual expression of 4K for Full HD recording, enabling high-resolution Full HD video recording. Custom Picture allows for a wide range of productions, allowing you to customize settings to suit various shooting conditions. Choose from Wide DR Gamma, which provides 800% dynamic range and is based on BT.709 for ease of use, or Canon Log 3 Gamma, which is designed for grading. Dual Pixel CMOS AF provides high-speed continuous AF within 80% of the frame's width and height, controlled by touch focus. AF speed and response can also be tuned to suit the photographer's preferences. Powerful image stabilization with Dynamic Mode electronically corrects roll and tilt, which were previously impossible with optical IS alone. Image distortion is significantly reduced, even when shooting unsteadily while walking, resulting in clearer footage.
The built-in, three-density ND filter (ND1/4/ND1/16/ND1/64/OFF) utilizes a compact, rotating turret system for enhanced convenience, enabling optimal exposure in a variety of lighting conditions.
The high-brightness, high-resolution 3.5-inch LCD monitor features a 3.5-inch, approximately 2.76 million dot LCD. The LCD backlight has four brightness settings, providing approximately twice the brightness of previous models.
The tilt-type, high-resolution 0.36-inch, approximately 1.77 million dot EVF is easy to use and provides comfortable visibility even in bright outdoor environments.
Meeting video streaming needs, the camera is USB Video Class (UVC) compatible, and can be recognized as a webcam simply by connecting it to a PC with a USB cable. No special software is required, allowing you to use high-quality video camera footage for a variety of streaming purposes, such as video streaming, web conferencing, and live commerce.
The DC-IN terminal uses USB-C, allowing power supply and charging via USB-PD (assuming use of the USB power adapter PD-E1). When the camera is turned on, power is supplied to the camera body via USB, and when the power is turned off, power is switched to charging the attached battery.
