The compact, lightweight system with excellent mobility, the OM SYSTEM OM-5 Mark II, measures approximately 125.3mm (W) x 85.2mm (H) x 125.3mm (W) x 85.2mm (H). With a focal length of 52.0mm (D) and a weight of approximately 418g (including battery and memory card), this compact, lightweight, and highly mobile camera weighs in at approximately 672g (CIPA compliant) even when paired with the standard zoom lens, the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-45mm f/4.0 PRO, making it easy to take on hikes and other adventures, capturing every moment. Equipped with in-body 5-axis image stabilization, it offers up to 6.5 stops of center image stabilization and 5.5 stops of periphery image stabilization. When paired with a compatible lens, 5-axis sync image stabilization provides up to 7.5 stops of center image stabilization and 6.5 stops of periphery image stabilization. This powerful image stabilization system allows for handheld shooting in a wide range of conditions, making it a compact, lightweight system that can instantly respond to a variety of outdoor photo opportunities.
Excellent basic performance for high image quality. The Live MOS Sensor with approximately 20.37 effective megapixels and the TruePic IX image processing engine deliver natural gradation and low noise, even at high sensitivities. The AF (autofocus) system employs a 121-point all-cross-type on-chip phase-detection AF for fast, accurate autofocus. The camera also features a USB Type-C port for charging and power supply from a mobile battery. Use it outdoors without worrying about battery life.
Dust- and splash-proof (IP53*) design ensures worry-free shooting even in sudden rain or other weather changes. Each component is sealed, providing the same dust- and splash-proof protection rating as the flagship model, the OM SYSTEM OM-1 Mark II, with an IP53* rating and weather resistance down to temperatures as low as -10°C. This means you can focus on capturing the perfect shot without worrying about your equipment, even in harsh outdoor shooting conditions like sudden rain, snow, or waterfalls. The OM-5 Mark II also features a dust reduction system using the Suha Sonic Wave Filter (SSWF), acclaimed by professional photographers worldwide. Every time the camera is turned on, it instantly removes dust and other particles from the image sensor with ultra-high-speed vibrations of over 30,000 times per second.
