Low-pass filter-free design delivers high-resolution performance for realistic rendering. By eliminating the optical low-pass filter, the high-resolution performance of the S lenses designed specifically for S-series cameras and the high pixel performance of the image sensor can be fully utilized. This allows for realistic depictions of the texture of wild animal fur, the three-dimensionality of the trees in a forest landscape, and the depth of the vast sky that evokes a natural landscape.
Venus Engine: A new engine featuring L2 Technology (L Square Technology), jointly developed by Leica and Panasonic. It rapidly processes image information output from the high-pixel sensor to deliver high-definition, natural-looking textures.
