This motorized pancake zoom lens boasts exceptional portability despite its 3x zoom. It's less than half the thickness of a conventional standard zoom lens (22.5mm when powered off). It weighs approximately 93g, making it highly portable.
ZUIKO-quality image quality. It utilizes three aspherical lenses, as well as a Super HD lens and ED lens element, to deliver clear, sharp image quality with minimal aberration from center to periphery, despite its compact size.
0.23x magnification (equivalent to 0.46x in 35mm format). It allows for close-up shooting from 20cm at the wide-angle end and 25cm at the telephoto end. This means that the maximum magnification of 0.23x (equivalent to 0.46x in 35mm format) is the highest among standard zoom lenses in its class. When combined with the optional Macro Converter Lens MCON-P02, simple macro photography is possible with a maximum magnification of 0.38x (equivalent to 0.76x in 35mm format).
Operation Designed for Usability: The independent, fully rotating focus ring ensures operability equivalent to that of a standard interchangeable lens. Zooming speed can be adjusted in two stages depending on the rotation angle of the zoom ring.
