This high-magnification zoom lens achieves best-in-class AF speed and precision, enabling stress-free, comfortable focusing across the entire focal range, from wide-angle to ultra-telephoto. Its excellent focus tracking ability on moving subjects makes it ideal for photographing animals, airplanes, and trains. Its quiet operation also makes it ideal for still photography and videography in quiet environments. While maintaining a compact size, the Model B061 is equipped with Tamron's proprietary VC image stabilization mechanism. Regardless of whether the camera has an in-body image stabilization mechanism or not, the VC built into this lens effectively suppresses camera shake that tends to occur in low-light situations such as indoors or at night. In addition, by utilizing AI (artificial intelligence) technology, compensation effects are also available that take video shooting into consideration at focal lengths of 70mm and below.
