A bright, fast-aperture wide-angle lens with a focal length of 24mm and an f/1.8 maximum aperture. This fast, fast-aperture wide-angle prime lens with a focal length of 24mm and an f/1.8 maximum aperture is compatible with the FX format and produces large, beautiful bokeh. Its short minimum focusing distance of 0.23m, the shortest among NIKKOR lenses covering the 24mm focal length, enables close-up photography. Taking advantage of the bright maximum aperture and short minimum focusing distance, you can enjoy beautiful bokeh effects even with a wide-angle lens.
A compact, lightweight, and highly portable lens body. Despite its large aperture, this wide-angle lens is compact and lightweight, making it highly portable. Compared to the AF-S NIKKOR 24mm f/1.4G ED, it is smaller in size and weighs approximately 355g, which is approximately 265g lighter. It offers outstanding mobility, even when photographing landscapes in the mountains.
The superior optical performance of a prime lens is achieved by using ED lens elements, aspherical lenses, and Nano Crystal Coat to achieve high optical performance with minimal ghosting and chromatic aberration. Furthermore, the latest optical design delivers sharp resolution all the way to the edges of the image, delivering excellent rendering capabilities.
