Compatible with Sony E-mount. Equipped with electronic contacts, the lens usage status is reflected in the Exif information of the shooting data. It also features a built-in distance encoder, which supports 5-axis image stabilization on the camera body. You can also zoom in the viewfinder by operating the focus ring.
Beautiful bokeh with 12 aperture blades. The 12-blade aperture structure maximizes the circular aperture. Out-of-focus areas are rendered naturally, and point light sources and other objects are blurred with a soft, rounded effect rather than polygonal.
Optimized Optical Design: While maintaining a full-frame image circle, the optical design is optimized for Sony E-mount sensors. High resolution is maintained even at the edges of the image, and color cast and other phenomena are suppressed.
Manual focus for reliable focusing: The all-metal helicoid unit is machined and adjusted with high precision, and the use of high-quality grease that generates just the right amount of torque ensures smooth focusing, allowing for subtle focus adjustments.
Minimum focusing distance: 25cm The minimum focusing distance from the subject to the image plane is 25cm. This enables the intense perspective unique to ultra-wide-angle lenses and the shallow focus to be accentuated.
Aperture click switching mechanism: The aperture switching mechanism allows for stepless opening and closing of the aperture ring without making a clicking sound.
