This large-aperture, mid-telephoto lens meets Leica's strict optical standards with its bright F1.2 Nocticlon aperture and nine-blade circular diaphragm, delivering a sense of depth and soft bokeh. The 42.5mm focal length (35mm equivalent: 85mm) creates a natural perspective, capturing the subject in true-to-life detail, making it a powerful tool for portrait photography. High-speed, high-precision contrast AF & POWER O.I.S. optical image stabilization. By employing an inner focus system and an encoder-equipped screw-integrated stepping motor drive system with feedback control, high-precision AF compatible with the large F1.2 aperture is achieved at high speeds (240 fps). Furthermore, the POWER O.I.S. optical image stabilization system reduces both small and moderate camera shake, ensuring superior image quality.
