The M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 45mm F1.2 PRO is designed to intentionally focus light rays passing through the outside of the lens in front of the lens, with the spherical aberration curve gradually tilting toward the lens as it moves toward the outside of the lens. High AF accuracy across the entire focusing area: The on-chip phase-detection AF used by the OM-D E-M1 Mark II is not limited by light flux, allowing for all-cross focusing even with a large aperture f/1.2 lens. This allows for highly accurate focusing across the entire focusing area, even at the periphery. SLR (phase-detection AF): Current SLR cameras are limited to a f/2.8 light flux. Since there is no sensor capable of measuring with a f/1.2 light flux, AF accuracy cannot be guaranteed even with lenses faster than f/2.8.
