High Resolution Performance: This lens features a 16-element lens design in 12 groups, including one aspherical lens, three ED lenses, and one Super ED lens. The floating focus system enables high-quality life-size macro photography. This is the first X Series interchangeable lens to achieve life-size shooting. The lens employs a floating focus system that separates the focus lens group into two, a front focus group and a rear focus group, and moves them according to the shooting distance. By precisely controlling the spacing between the two focus lens groups, aberrations are effectively suppressed across the entire shooting range, including close-up shots, resulting in high-quality images. Furthermore, a new mechanism has been developed to minimize the tilt of the two focus lens groups, ensuring consistent, high-resolution performance even at the edges of the image. Equipped with Image Stabilization to Counteract Shift Shake The new image stabilization function counters shift shake, which is particularly noticeable in macro photography.
