Effectively positioned two XA lens elements suppress sagittal flare (image blurring of point light sources) and faithfully reproduce point light sources. Optimally positioned three ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements effectively correct chromatic aberration, a common issue with large-aperture lenses.
