Excellent image quality across the entire zoom range The "LEICA DG VARIO-ELMAR" lens meets Leica's strict optical standards, delivering beautiful image quality from the center to the edges across the entire zoom range. This ultra-telephoto zoom lens covers a maximum of 1600mm (35mm equivalent / when a teleconverter is attached*), allowing for a wide range of creative expression. Its focal length of 200mm to 800mm allows it to be used with a wide range of subjects, from birds and wildlife to sports, and it offers a wide range of creative expression, including the bokeh and compression effects unique to telephoto lenses, as well as close-up shots that depict the finest details. Using the separately sold 2.0x teleconverter*, 1600mm 1:1 macro shooting is also possible. *When the DMW-TC20A teleconverter is attached, the f-stop becomes two stops darker. High mobility and compact, lightweight design. Equipped with a linear motor for high-speed, high-precision AF and Dual I.S. for optimal image stabilization control. 2.
