This large-aperture wide-angle lens features a 24mm focal length (in FX format) and a bright f/1.4 maximum aperture. It's perfect for capturing architectural and landscape shots, as well as small indoor spaces, taking advantage of the dynamic perspective unique to wide-angle lenses. When mounted on a DX-format SLR camera, it functions as an f/1.4 lens, equivalent to a 36mm focal length in 35mm format, making it ideal for snapshots and other purposes. The lens boasts a bright f/1.4 aperture and a nine-blade circular aperture, enabling beautiful, large bokeh effects despite being a wide-angle lens. The bright f/1.4 aperture is also ideal for handheld shooting in dimly lit indoor spaces or at dusk. The minimum focusing distance of 0.25m allows you to get close to your subject for wide-angle macro-style close-ups. The new optical design, incorporating two ED lens elements and two aspherical lens elements, delivers high resolution and excellent aberration balance, effectively correcting color bleeding, distortion, and spherical aberration while maintaining sharp resolution all the way to the edges of the image.
