It smoothly blurs the focus from the background to the focal plane, creating a three-dimensional effect that highlights the subject. By simultaneously driving six focus groups, including an aspherical lens, it suppresses aberration fluctuations caused by focusing, achieving high-quality images. Equipped with AF functionality for fast and accurate subject capture. The AF function is powered by a DC motor optimized for driving large lenses. Even in shallow depth-of-field situations, which require advanced focusing, it captures the subject quickly and accurately, ensuring you never miss a decisive moment. Its high light-gathering power achieves an AF low-light limit of -5.5EV (※1), a 0.5-stop improvement from the previous -5.0EV (※2). It enables smooth AF even in dimly lit scenes, minimizing camera shake and noise while capturing the subject with high precision.
