Achieves beautiful bokeh and high resolution. This lens features a 14-element lens design in 10 groups, including two ED lenses and two aspherical lenses. It achieves the soft, beautiful bokeh characteristic of large-aperture lenses. By placing an ultra-high-precision aspherical lens behind the aperture, spherical aberration is optimized, resulting in soft background bokeh. Additionally, another aspherical lens is placed at the rear of the lens, achieving high resolution even at the edges of the frame. The focus lens group is generously equipped with eight elements, including one aspherical lens and two ED lenses, achieving high resolution across the entire focus range. It produces soft, beautifully contoured bokeh. The lens uses one high-refractive-index lens, also used in cinema lenses, in the front element and one in the focus group, each with a highly effective aberration reduction. Spherical aberrations and other issues are suppressed, achieving high resolution regardless of the focus position. This lens is the first GF lens to feature an 11-blade diaphragm, achieving a nearly circular aperture. This enhances the circularity of bokeh even when slightly stopped down from the maximum aperture, allowing you to enjoy beautiful bokeh in a wide range of scenes.
