This portable equatorial mount adds Wi-Fi functionality to SkyMemo S and can be operated with a smartphone. It also features a built-in polar axis telescope for precise polar axis alignment. (With bright field illumination) The position of Polaris is displayed on a smartphone, making polar axis alignment easy. It allows for easy astronomical photography and time-lapse photography, making it a great secondary device for beginners and advanced photographers alike. Control it from your smartphone by downloading the free SkyMemo app. You can pinpoint the location of the North Star.
Equipped with a Mode Dial: The camera itself has a mode dial (for stars, the sun, the moon, celestial time lapse, time lapse, and long time lapse), so you can operate it without a smartphone.
Selectable Tracking Mode: The camera features five tracking modes, including Stellar Mode, which is used for standard astronomy photography. It is also effective for non-stellar photography (such as during lunar and solar eclipses).
Starry Sky Photography Compatible: The camera features a 0.5x Speed Tracking Mode for astronomy photography, capturing both the ground scenery and the starry sky in the same frame. The slow-moving tracking function prevents the ground scenery from shifting, resulting in beautiful photos.
Time Lapse Function: Three modes are available: celestial time lapse mode, time lapse mode, and long time lapse mode.
Includes a Polar Axis Telescope: Setting the polar axis is the most important aspect of photographing with an equatorial mount. The built-in polar axis telescope allows for precise polar axis alignment. It also comes standard with a bright field illumination device to support polar axis alignment. It uses convenient AA alkaline batteries for power. It uses four AA alkaline batteries (sold separately). It can be used continuously for approximately 36 hours (design value). (Temperature 20°C, sidereal time operation, alkaline batteries) ■ Specifications ■ Tracking rate (tracking mode)...
