The outer periphery of the filter glass is black-painted to reduce internal reflections.

Effective: Eliminates surface reflections from water and glass, deepens blue skies, and brings out the vivid colors of tree foliage, mountain slopes, and buildings.
Digital Multi-Coating: Reduces reflections through the use of "Digital Multi-Coating," which has higher transmittance than conventional multi-coating.
Black-Painted Glass Outer periphery: The outer periphery of the filter glass is black-painted to reduce internal reflections.
Thin Frame with Knurling: This thin frame is compatible with a wide range of lenses, from wide-angle to telephoto. Its frame thickness is roughly the same as that of protective filters.
