Named after the lotus flower, the PRO1D Lotus series offers highly water- and oil-repellent properties. The gold frame is hard anodized, and the glass retaining spring is corrosion-resistant, ensuring thorough water and dirt resistance and durability for use in harsh environments.
The PRO1D Lotus C-PL is a circular polarizing filter that reduces unwanted light reflections to vividly reproduce the subject's true colors. It reduces reflections on water or glass surfaces and creates a color contrast effect that deepens the blue of the sky.
Highly Durable Water- and Oil-Repellent Coating The lens features a highly durable water- and oil-repellent coating. It repels water and oil, and dirt can be easily wiped off. It allows for stress-free shooting near water or in rainy weather, and simplifies daily maintenance.
Digital Multi-Coating II Achieves Ultra-Low Reflection Digital Multi-Coating II achieves ultra-low surface reflection of 0.6-1% (for C-PL lenses, based on manufacturer standards). It reduces flare and ghosting caused by filter attachment, delivering crisp, clear images.
Hard Anodizing While most filters have an anodized surface finish on the gold frame, the PRO1D Lotus uses a hard anodized finish. This creates a thicker oxide layer than standard anodizing, improving surface hardness, abrasion resistance, and durability.
Corrosion-Resistant Treatment The filter glass retaining spring is corrosion-resistant to prevent rust. It is safe even if water gets into the spring part.
Smooth attachment/detachment By applying lubrication to the lens attachment screw, it makes attachment and detachment to the lens smooth and reduces jamming of the lens. ■ Specifications ■
