Durable Water- and Oil-Repellent Coating
The durable water- and oil-repellent coating repels water and oil, and fingerprints and other smudges can be easily wiped off. This allows for stress-free shooting near water or in rainy weather, and simplifies daily maintenance.

The new PRO1D ND Coat II technology provides water- and oil-repellent properties while enabling top-level, stable color reproduction and light reduction. Vacuum deposition technology achieves extremely high neutrality. Suitable for both still images and video, this high-quality coating reduces light without significantly affecting the camera's sensitivity characteristics.
Hard Anodizing: While most filters have an anodized surface on the gold frame, the PRO1D Lotus series uses a hard anodizing process. This creates a thicker oxide layer than standard anodizing, improving surface hardness, abrasion resistance, and durability.
Easy-to-Attach/Remove: The frame features chamfered edges and flat knurled sides. The non-slip design makes it easy to attach, remove, and stack filters.
Smooth Attachment/Removal: The lens mounting threads are lubricated for smooth attachment and removal and reduce jamming. Corrosion-resistant filter glass The retaining spring has been treated with a corrosion-resistant coating to prevent rust. It is safe even if water gets into the spring. High-transmittance optical glass: Made with highly transparent glass. Made from melted, high-purity raw materials, it has high transmittance across a wide wavelength range, from the visible to the infrared. Nano-level processing precision: The glass surface is optically polished with high precision to maintain a parallel plane. Low-reflection ND coating as well. Black-painted glass periphery.
